Intestinal health is the foundation of optimal health. Food sensitivities, bloating, abdominal cramps, inflammatory conditions such as allergies, arthritis, cardiovascular disease, migraine, skin conditions, etc are all associated with poor intestinal health. Culturing or fermenting food and drinks at home using live cultures provides a daily source of digestive enzymes and probiotics which help to improve and maintain your health.
This workshop demonstrates how easy these techniques are and how little time and effort is required to produce great tasting beneficial foods.
You will learn:
• About lacto fermentation and how this age old process of preserving food can benefit you and your family.
• How to make fermented vegetables such as sauerkraut, kimchi and discover why you’d want to.
• How easy it is to bring probiotics into your everyday life by culturing great tasting drinks.
• Simple steps to make the food you already eat more digestible and therefore more nutritious.
